The purpose of this study was to determine the development of the role fo sport psychology in artistic gymnastic. This type of research is qualitative. The data is taken from descriptive narrative. The results of this study indicate that the psychological aspects of artistic gymnastics athletes include anxiety, aggressiveness, intelligence, and self-confidence. In conclusion, psychological aspects are needed in supporting the achievement of artistic gymnastics athletes.
