Abstract

Pentingnya aktivitas fisik pada lansia sebagai bentuk pencegahan terhadap penyakit degeneratif serta pemeliharaan kapasitas fungsional yang dapat mengurangi resiko musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) pada lansia.  Musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) adalah cedera dan gangguan yang mempengaruhi gerakan tubuh manusia atau sistem musculoskeletal (yaitu otot, tendon, ligamen, saraf, diskus, pembuluh darah, dll). Minimnya pergerakan pada tubuh disebabkan kurangnya aktivitas fisik menimbulkan tingginya angka keluhan musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) seperti nyeri pada leher, bahu, lutut, pingggang, dan anggota tubuh lainnya. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) pada lansia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah responden sebanyak 45 orang lansia berusia 60-79 tahun. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner Physical Activity Scale for Eldery (PASE) untuk aktivitas fisik dan Nordic Body Map Quisionare (NMQ) untuk mengukur Musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs). Analisis data dengan uji statistik Spearman-rank program SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan aktivitas fisik terhadap musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) pada lansia dengan nilai (P= 0,000). Kesimpulannya, aktivitas fisik yang semakin buruk meningkatkan musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) pada lansia.
